056-Old Testament

$15.00

In this Old Testament module, students will come to understand how God’s plan of redemption began and played out with the people of Israel. Although, ultimately, the Hebrew people were not able to live up to the covenant that God established with them, their story is part of our heritage as Christians because it teaches us how to be God’s people, it shows us that God is faithful, and it paves the way for Jesus as our ultimate high priest and redeemer. The Old Testament tells this story in many ways, through historical narratives, the presentation of the law, poetry and wisdom literature. Students will encounter these various genres as they learn about the story of the people of Israel.
